How To Wear Monochromatic Outfits

Happy Weekend Fabbies! Well February just about came and went didn’t it?! How are we so close to March already?! Lately I have been looking over my old blog posts, (which, it’s also crazy to me that I have been blogging for almost four years now! Ya’ll have basically been watching my kids grow up on here! That’s so incredible to me!) Anyway, I have been looking at which posts you guys seem to enjoy reading the most, so that way I know what topics I should post more of. And food and fashion pretty much reign supreme on here. So because of that, I decided to start the week off with some fashion inspiration for you!  Continue reading “How To Wear Monochromatic Outfits”

What To Wear To Meet Your Significant Other’s Parents!

Happy Monday Fabbies! As Valentine’s Day nears, I began thinking about how lots of proposals happen on that day, and how meeting the significant other’s parents happens somewhere along the way. I know that meeting someone’s parents is often a big deal, and how you present yourself to them can be stressful for some. So for this “What To Wear Series, I decided to put together outfit ideas on what you could wear when you are planning to meet your boo thang’s parents. And of course the meeting places may vary. I mean, you could be meeting them for dinner inside their home, at a restaurant, at a family outing, or anywhere. But location aside, the key is to put some effort into your overall look, so when that meeting does take place, you’ve already impressed everyone before you even speak.  Continue reading “What To Wear To Meet Your Significant Other’s Parents!”

How To Wear Head-to-Toe Prints

Happy Friday Fabbies! I am such a big fan of colors, prints, funky textures and fabrics, and then mixing them altogether. I know this can be a bit much for some to embrace for themselves, but the thing about fashion is, you can literally do whatever the hell you want to do. There are no rules. My life’s motto is “more is more”, so it’s only natural that I would love to combine prints on top of prints on top of prints whenever I can, and for this blog post, I wanted to show you different ways that you can mix prints in your outfit, and not look like you stepped out of clown college! Fashionable Meet and Greet Event in Phoenix I Attended!

Hey Fabbies! The other night I got a chance to go to a super fab Meet and Greet event put on by the organizers of Phoenix Fashion Week. They typically put on several events throughout the year, and rightfully so, as Phoenix is the one of the leading markets for Fashion in the Southwest U.S. This particular event was held at the ultra chic MonOrchid art gallery studio, which, according to its website,, “is the city’s premiere interdisciplinary creative hub in the heart of historic downtown. Built within a former warehouse, the studios at monOrchid are a prime setting for commercial and product shoots, modeling, sound recording and filmmaking.”

My Online Store Fab and Ravenous Boutique Turns 1!

Happy Friday Fabbies! Guess What?! My online store Fab & Ravenous Boutique has been operating for one year as of tomorrow! I launched my store on Friday the 13th on 1/13/17 last year, and when I tell you that the year FLEW by?! I can distinctly remember that whole day of my store launch: I had to take some last minute product photos, (I had already been doing that for weeks leading up to the launch), I was super nervous yet excited, I poured some champagne to celebrate the day, and I made vegan lasagna for dinner that night! Ha! Also, I think the nerves and stress of opening (that was all brought on by myself lol), caused me to have a wicked tooth ache. Ahhh what a time! When I got my first order, I was over the moon! I officially had an online boutique! Continue reading “My Online Store Fab and Ravenous Boutique Turns 1!”

Outfit Of The Day: Entire Year 2017 Edition!

Happy New Year Fabbies! I hope you had a wonderful time bringing in the New Year! My New Year’s Eve was spent working on exciting things that I have in store for 2018! (More on that later, hehe. I have to so much to fill you guys in on!)  I also pretty much spent a good part of my weekend organizing my workspace at home, and organizing inventory for FRB. I wanted to make sure that I started the New Year off with everything sorted, compartmentalized, and ready for expansion! 😉 Continue reading “Outfit Of The Day: Entire Year 2017 Edition!”

What To Wear To A Concert-(Plus Story Time Of The EPIC Concert I Last Attended!)

Happy Monday Fabbies! Are you so excited that the weather is finally starting to cool off? Well, depending on what part of the world you live in, it’s beginning to cool off. Here in sunny Arizona, it is still relatively HOT during the day (like high 90’s) , but our mornings and nighttimes are nice and cool. It is definitely sleep-with-the-windows-open-at-night weather. Anyway, nice Fall weather aside, can we talk about female rapper Cardi B, and how she recently made history by becoming the first female rapper to reach the Number One spot on the Billboard singles chart without featuring any other artist in nineteen years?! (Lauryn Hill was the first to ever do it back in 1998.) That is a HUGE deal! If you are not familiar with who exactly Cardi B is, a quick google search or a visit to her Instagram page will quickly tell you everything you need to know. But I will say, she is most definitely a Fabbie: Fearless, Unapologetic, Confident, and Fabulous! And I am totally a fan and a part of the #bardigang. (What her fans are known as). She has been performing around the world, and the energy from her concerts seem bigger than life, and I would definitely pay to see her perform in person.  Continue reading “What To Wear To A Concert-(Plus Story Time Of The EPIC Concert I Last Attended!)”

My Weekend In LA for the Vegan Food Festival! (TONS Of Pictures!)

At the end of May, my family and I took a quick little weekend getaway trip to LA/Anaheim, California to attend the annual Vegan Food and Beer Festival. I have been wanting to go to the this festival since I learned about it while living in Los Angeles two years ago, but our schedules were never free during the times that had it the last two years. So this year was our year to go! While the Vegan Festival was in Los Angeles, we stayed in Anaheim, CA which is nearby. I meant to blog about our trip sooner, but I did not realize how many pictures I had compiled from the trip, so going through, editing, and deciding which pics to post took a lot longer than expected. But this post comes at the perfect time anyway, because I have another upcoming trip to Dallas, Texas this weekend, where I am going to visit my older sister and nephew, PLUS see one of my good friends, Brittanii, who is having a birthday party at her house! I will definitely write a blog post all about that trip when I return next week, because I know it will be a long weekend full of much-needed girl time and FUN!

But back to our fab weekend in Cali; it was a quick weekend 4-day trip, and I will share what I wore, what we ate, (except for what I ate at the actual Vegan Fest; you’ll get to see all of that on my next vlog on YouTube when it’s ready!), and how much fun was had! Continue reading “My Weekend In LA for the Vegan Food Festival! (TONS Of Pictures!)”

Some Of My Favorite Looks From Fab & Ravenous Boutique!

Hey Fabbies! Earlier this month, I celebrated six months of my online store,  Fab & Ravenous Boutique being open! I opened my store on Friday, January 13th, 2017, (I will never forget that date. Friday the 13th! Easy to remember right? haha) and have learned a lot in that short amount of time of being open. I will write an entire post on that at a later date. 🙂 But for now, I wanted to share some of my favorite looks that I have worn from my store over the last 6 months! Some items are sold out, but I still have many items available for you to shop. I will be expanding my merchandise a great deal as the summer progresses, and I cannot wait for you guys to see!  Continue reading “Some Of My Favorite Looks From Fab & Ravenous Boutique!”

Look Of The Week!

Last weekend, my family and I went out to dinner to our favorite Ethiopian restaurant, GoJo, and this of course gave me the perfect excuse to wear something fun. (Rule #1, always look for a reason to wear something fun. ;p) Anyway, I opted to wear a halter neck jumpsuit that I’ve had for over a year now, and have never worn. What’s great about this jumpsuit is that the material is soft and stretchy, and it has a super long inseam of about 36 inches, which meant even with my heels on, the pant legs still came to the floor. One of my favorite places to shop that caters to tall gals like myself is That is where the fabulous jumpsuit that I chose to wear for dinner came from! I love Alloy because they have extra long inseams on their jeans, dresses, and jumpsuits, and all at an afffordable price! Continue reading “Look Of The Week!”
