Outfit Deets for July 2016! (Including a few #Litinthedesert outfits!)

Hey Fabbies! Exactly one week ago, I hosted a Girls Weekend here at my house, and it was beyond LIT!! 😀 (I’ll do an entire post on that later, complete with pictures and details on decor, pictures from the crazy weekend, and more!  Plus the entire weekend was filmed by my videographer, so you’ll get to see all the action that took place in the next coming weeks! So stay tuned!) Anyway, the last of the crew (my sisters, nephew, and mom), left a few days ago, so life is back to normal at the Douglas-Roberts household.

During the month of July, I spent alot of the month preparing for the Girls Weekend, which meant running errands, ordering knick knacks for the house, and more. Of course, throughout the mist of all of this, one has to maintain her fabulosity right?! (Well let’s be honest: I wore workout clothes half the month, and looked halfway decent the rest of the month lol!) Also, the majority of the #Litinthedesert weekend took place in July, so I’ll include those outfit details as well!

Poolside Day 2 of #Litinthedesert swimsuit and coverup from boohoo.com

Saturday night of the Girls Weekend, I chose to wear a cream colored mock neck romper and gold strappy sandals. Before heading out to dinner and the club, I had an impromptu photoshoot on my pool table. Because why not! ;p

And for the final night out, I chose to go for a more throwback look, complete with sock heels (yes, it’s all one shoe!), and a collared flair mini dress. Dress is from asos.com and shoes are Jeffrey Campbell. We headed to dinner (which was AMAZING!), and took in the sights and sounds of downtown Scottsdale:

And finally, the last night of #Litinthedesert we had a pajama slumber party, complete with drinking games and laughter! I opted to wear pink pajama romper that I got from Forever21 a few years ago:

The month of July was probably my busiest of the entire year so far. My clothing line is still  very much underway, so that took up lots of time along with the planning of the Girls Weekend. (I’ll keep you posted of course when it’s ready to launch!)  I probably should just book an island getaway just so I can sleep for 4 days straight! Haha! Kidding. I feel great! I’m excited that my Girls Weekend was a success and I’m so looking forward to next summer’s! Now who’s helping me plan it? 😀

  1. […] Happy Friday Fabbies! First off, let me just say that that this is also another lowkey anniversary post. Do you know it’s been 5 years since I’ve hosted Lit In The Desert at my house when I lived in Scottsdale, Arizona? “Lit In The Desert” was an epic Girls Weekend where I invited some of my friends to my home for long weekend in July 2016. I sent out invitations for that weekend and everything! I also hired a cameraman (shoutout to Flashy Films) to capture the entire weekend, so that video lives on YouTube. I also blogged a bit about that weekend (it was more about what I wore during that month) which you can read here. […]
