The Time Has Come!

We leave for Costa Rica tonight!!!!! I’ve been running around like crazy getting everything organized, packed and ready to go. So this post will be quick. Throughout this whole process of wedding planning and finalizing flowers or dresses, getting flights, finalizing photography, and everything else in between, it was somewhat hard to stop and smell the roses so to speak. When I tell you my days and nights consisted of something wedding related everyday, it really did! And what’s even crazier, is that this will be a very small wedding. Just our immediate families and a few close friends! (I can’t even imagine if I had a big wedding in the States. I would have been a basket case!) So this wedding week will also be our vacation, and time to relax and enjoy our families, while we are all in paradise.

So now, as I gather last minute things for our trip, I’m beginning to stop and smell the roses. I’m marrying the man of my dreams in a few days! Certainly, the only real thing that is changing between the two of us, is that I’ll have a new name. Which I’m sure will take some getting used to lol. I’ve been Raven Rogers for a long time ya’know? We both have watched each other grow, he watched and cheered as I gave birth (naturally, I might add. Jesus he’s a trooper. But so am I lol), we both have navigated our way through this thing called parenthood, have had our ups and downs, have shared late night laughs where our stomachs are literally aching, and have experienced everything in between. So this wedding, this wedding is just the bow being put on top of an already nicely wrapped gift. I am beyond excited, and can’t wait to continue our happily ever after. 🙂
