Hey y’all! So last Tuesday, the kids and I hopped on a plane, said goodbye to Dallas, TX, and headed West to LA. Since I landed then, I’ve hit the ground running. Chris’s basketball season officially began October 30th, and he’s had a string of home games. So my first week in LA has been summed up with attending his games, getting familiar with the area that we’re going to live, and tying up loose ends with the move across country! Needless to say I’ve been busy! In this post I’ve included some of the highlights of my week here. In the next few days, we get a chance to move into our new house, and I am SO excited because we’ve been staying in a hotel since arriving here. (I mean, don’t get me wrong, room service and housekeeping are a beautiful thing.)
At this point, Ze and Vito have flown on an airplane lots of times, so they were very excited about flying, because I reminded them a frequently that we’d be flying on an airplane before our departure date. Traveling alone with 2 toddlers isn’t the easiest thing in the world to do, but it’s definitely manageable, especially after having done it several times before. (Later on I’ll do a post on exactly what I bring on flights to keep the kids entertained. Trust me you have to fly prepared lol.)
Below here are some photos of the kids and I preparing to embark on our journey to LA!

About to board the plane! |

They’re typically happy the entire flight and fight their sleep because they don’t want to miss anything |

Watching some Dora the Explorer on the iPad. (On the floor I might add. Thank God for spacious planes lol) |

I mean seriously. I took a selfie in the airport bathroom lol! (Ze refused to go. I think she didn’t think it was real toilet. Luckily she has a strong bladder and can hold it for long periods.) |

She was sooo sleepy here. This was near the end of our flight. |
So we made it safely to LA! Our hotel is less than a mile from the beach, so the next morning while Chris had practice, I decided to take the kids for walk there to let them enjoy the wonderment that is sand and sea. The weather was in the mid 70s, so it was a perfect day to push the stroller around! (Also a perfect excuse to get a workout in) And this is what I wore:

It totally looked like I was going for a jog right? |
When we got to the beach, it was not crowded at all, so the kids had plenty of room to run around, dig their feet in the sand, and just enjoy the great outdoors:

Chasing the Seagulls! |
The kids absolutely not ready to leave the beach. I can’t wait to take them back, and seeing that the beach is right at our fingertips, we will most definitely be making frequent trips there for sure.

It’s a long season ahead, so there will be plenty of opportunities to play dress up! (Or dress down for that matter. It just depends on my mood hehe.)
And of course I have to show a few shots of the kids at their daddy’s games!
So yes, LA has been eventful. I will be so happy when we are finally good and settled. That should happen over the next week or so. The biggest adjustment for me has been getting used to the time change. The kids have adapted beautifully! And me, well I’m slowly getting there. I hope everyone had a safe and happy Halloween! And let’s Go Clippers!
I'm so glad you all are enjoying it there. I just need the energy you have with those two kids, for this one baby lol. He has me tired daily lol but I wouldn't change it for the world 🙂 Taking my vitamin lol

Being a kid has to be the best thing on earth. I mean “big people” do everything for you. (Feed you, dress you, carry or in your picture – push you in a stroller – while you sleep 😴💤 lol ….when people say “this is the life” – they are referring to the lives of children. Who has it better than them? Lol….the kiddos PJ's are fun…. & All you outfits are amaze balls 👌👌👏👏👏
