I Haven’t Blogged Since March! Life Update!

Hey There Fabbies! Wow! What a year right? 2020 has proven to be one big unpredictable never-ending rollercoaster. The last time I posted was at the beginning of the Coronavirus pandemic. The world was just beginning to go on lock down, and mandates were put into place all over the world. At this time the mandate of wearing protective face masks was beginning to be … Continue reading I Haven’t Blogged Since March! Life Update!

Dealing With The Coronavirus in Mexico + Tips For Your Family

Happy Wednesday Fabbies! Whooooo the world is in a bit of a situation here huh? The Covid-19 virus, better known as the Coronavirus, has called mass hysteria and confusion around the world, with thousands of cases of people getting seriously ill and some even dying from the virus. This has many of us shook and feeling like we got the rug pulled from under us, as businesses and restaurants are closing down, mandatory curfews are put into effect, and the economy is crashing. My thoughts and prayers are with anyone who has been directly affected by the virus, and I pray that we all get through this challenging time quickly and in good health.

Homeschool Life With Zé and Vito

Happy Friday Fabbies! It’s been a while since I’ve written a post on “Motherhood”. And actually, today’s post is more about childhood than motherhood, but you will see what I mean as you continue reading. If you read my blog post on how we moved to Mexico a few months back, then you saw that I mentioned that we homeschool Zé and Vito, and have been ‘formally’ homeschooling them since 2017. And I say “formally”, because 2017 is the year that Zé started kindergarten, so that is when Supreme and I began implementing specific lesson plans if you will. Before then, he and I would just teach the kids the basics such as learning to write their names (when they were like 2 and 3), sight words with flash cards, practicing writing their letters and handwriting, and so on:

Vegan Rotel Dip Recipe 2.0 (Virtually Homemade This Time!)

Happy Friday Fabbies! Today’s recipe is SO long overdue ya’ll. If you’ve been following me or this blog for a while, then you know that I posted my original vegan rotel dip recipe almost 3 years ago. You can find the original recipe here. I would make rotel dip often, for our kids’ weekly movie nights or for whenever we wanted some. I’ve made vegan rotel dip for many of my friends and family as well. I also made some vegan rotel dip for a group of fabulous non-vegan folks back in December 2017 when I went to Art Basel to be a part of my friend Billy Joe’s epic art exhibition, and they loved it! (You can see how that Art Basel weekend all went down on my Youtube Channel here.) That vegan rotel dip has been a fave for many of you readers too! The original recipe I posted almost 3 years ago is still one of my most viewed posts on this blog, and people have messaged me saying they have made it and loved it! What To Wear On A First Date

Happy Thursday Fabbies! How is everyone’s summer going? (Or winter, depending on where ever you are in the world). The summer weather here in San Miguel de Allende is pretty mild, which is a pretty big change considering I’m coming from the hot desert that is Arizona. During the day, it is typically anywhere from 75 degrees to 85 degrees, and the mornings and evenings are cool, where it feels like its Fall. Plus, it rains here! It never rained in Arizona haha! It’s raining right now as we speak actually, creating the perfect backdrop of sound as I write this blog post. Anywho, today’s post is all about outfits and storytelling! It’s been a good minute since I’ve posted a “What To Wear” post, so today’s blog will be about what to wear on a 1st Date! (And if you’re past the “1st date stage and are already boo-ed up, this post will give you date night ideas for the future too. 😉 Continue reading “What To Wear On A First Date”

Happy Friday Fabbies! If you read my “birthday” blog post, I mentioned that I’ve been making a lot of food homemade, namely dips and sauces. You only need a handful of ingredients, a blender (or food processor) and your taste buds to taste it! Continue reading “Homemade Salsa Recipe! (You’ll Never Want to Buy Salsa in a Jar Again!)”

It’s My 5 Year Blog Anniversary! (And Let’s Also Celebrate Because I’ve Kept The Same Hair Color For 6 Months!)

Hello There Fabbies! Today marks year FIVE that http://www.fabandravenous.com has been up and running. Can you believe that?! FIVE. YEARS. That’s how long it takes to graduate college for some people! (or high school depending on if teachers was hating with the grades hahaha). Five years is how long it takes me to do Zé’s hair. Five years is how long I’ve been sketching designs. Five years is how long it takes me to fold laundry after it’s been sitting in the basket all week. Five years is almost all of Vito’s life! Five years is a long time to be doing anything if you ask me. And well, here I am, five years later: still blogging!
